Grassi-sub is managed by Bernadette Grassi. Bernadette is Swiss and has lived in L’Escala for many years. Individual development of the dive students and a solid technical education are our main goals. Furthermore, we show our diving students how to protect and conserve the wonderful underwater world.
In order for us to be able to instruct our clients on an individual basis, dive trips are limited to a maximum of 10 participants. We offer our customers the possibility to clean and store their equipment at the diving school. Showers and toilets are also available to our customers on the premises.
The diving center is open all year round. During the main season (Easter and June-September), we are open daily from 09.00 to 20.00. The rest of the year, opening hours are by prior arrangement.
We show you the Costa Brava from a completely different angle so your holiday in Spain is an unforgettable experience! Let yourself be enchanted!
Baix de Cols is a diving spot with a wall and two pinnacles, the largest starts at the surface and descends to 20-22 meters. The smallest starts at 1-2 meters and goes down to 18 meters deep.
It is a wall dive that has a large cavern that has a large air chamber. At its entrance, in the background, there are a large number of rocks where the scorpionfish are protected. The maximum depth is 22 meters.
Pinnacle or wall dive (if the shallow depth is sought). The pinnacle starts from the surface and descends to 26 meters. At the pinnacle is a cave which can be found crustaceans, nudibranchs and scorpionfish.
Easy dive. It can be done on the wall at a shallow depth (6-8 meters) and it can also be done over the Posidonia meadow that is between 12 and 18 meters deep. Juvenile wrasse, cuttlefish, octopus, and nudibranch tend to take refuge in it.
Depth 8-20 meters . This dive is easily recognizable by the bass that does not emerge. We will start the dive descending the rock and border it from North to South, encountering another rock that does not reach the surface. In it we will find a small tunnel full of coral.
Easy dive with great light contrasts and with possibilities to see different environments: rocky, sandy and seaweed bottoms. The dive is on the wall and you can go through a large arch at a shallow depth. The dive has a tunnel that connects to La Cova del Dolfí dive site
Located at the northern tip of Cala Montgó, it is a wall dive that reaches a maximum depth of 22m, suitable for all levels. The bottom has both rocky and sandy areas and there is also a posidonia meadow.
It has several caverns and tunnels decorated with anemones and red corals. Inside the caverns, you can find scorpionfish on the rocky bottom. To carry out this dive, good buoyancy control and flashlights are required.
