The SSI Deep Diving Specialty will teach you everything you need to dive to depths between 18 and 40 meters, through a mix of theory sessions and open water dives. You'll learn how to safely plan and execute your deep diving adventures, and how to use computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most out of your deep dives. On completion of this course, you'll receive your Deep Diving SSI Specialty certification and be able to explore magnificent deep dive sites wherever you choose. This SSI Specialty is also a prerequisite for certain additional training courses, making it the next logical step in your diver training.

In this specialty program, you'll develop the advanced skills and knowledge you need to navigate safely and confidently underwater. You'll learn how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques, estimate distance, leave and return to a designated point, as well as basic navigation patterns. You'll also learn how to combine navigation techniques to enhance your diving experience. All this sharpens your underwater observation skills, improves your diving safety and helps you get the most out of every dive. On completion of this course, you'll be awarded the SSI Navigation specialty certification.

Night diving requires different skills from day diving. The Night Diving and Limited Visibility SSI Specialty is the best way to learn night diving and practice the techniques you'll need to become a safe and confident night diver. In this program, you'll receive all the knowledge and skills you need to dive safely and comfortably at night or in conditions of limited visibility. Through a combination of e-learning and open water training dives, you'll learn to enter and exit the water, use specialized equipment and communicate easily with your buddy at night or in limited visibility. At the end of the course, you'll receive Night Diving and Limited Visibility SSI specialty certification, and be ready to dive at night with confidence.

Dive from the shore and you'll discover the simplicity of walking along the beach and exploring your favorite dive sites. But waves, tides and currents can impact your dives and affect your safety if you don't know how to deal with them. The Waves, Tides and Currents SSI specialty will improve your diving skills and understanding, so you can dive in different environments safely and confidently. You'll gain a better understanding of dynamic environments in the wild, and learn about the environmental conditions that affect different dive sites. With e-learning, confined water and open water dives, the SSI Scuba Diver program is the perfect foundation for becoming a safe and confident diver. You'll learn everything you need to dive in the open water to a depth of 12 meters with an SSI Professional. In this program, you'll complete almost half of the Open Water Diver course and easily upgrade your certification. All you need to do is complete the remaining theory and confined water sessions, plus two open water training dives.

The SSI Try Scuba program is the best way to try scuba diving for the first time. You'll be in protected water and well supervised by your instructor, so you can enjoy those unforgettable first breaths underwater and experience the magic of scuba diving. By the end of this short course, you'll have earned your SSI Try Scuba certification card and will undoubtedly want to dive again. In the Basic Diver SSI program, you'll learn the skills and knowledge you need to dive to a depth of 12 meters with an SSI Professional. It's a great way to explore the underwater world in greater depth by giving diving a try. The entire Basic Diver program can be credited towards the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver programs within 6 months, so you can move on to the next stage of your diving adventure.

Looking for underwater adventure? Try SCUBA is the way to go! There is nothing like SCUBA diving! Its much easier than you think and the Try SCUBA entry level program is an ideal way to start exploring the magical world of the big blue ocean like you have never seen it before! On completion you will earn the SSI Try SCUBA recognition card and and learn to love the ocean from a completely new perspective. If you decide to become an Open Water Diver within the first six months, your Try Scuba open water dive will be recognized as one of the required dives. In order to truly enjoy your first underwater experience, an SSI Dive professional will teach you everything you need to know and under their guidance, you will learn the skills you need to enjoy this first experience underwater. If you are a non-certified Open Water Diver student, a Scuba Skills Update is ideal for practicing your dive skills before your open water training dives.
