Just a 5 minute boat ride from the Shore and tucked between a gap in the reef is a small “sandpatch“. The dive site sits at 18M and has ropes set out at the bottom of mooring lines at 12m & 18M for divers to hold onto and watch the sharks feed! The surrounding reef is also home to a good mix of Bio diversity.

★★★★☆ Golden Reef

Found along the southern reef wall of Yanuca Island is golden reef. At the edge of a reef, this gradual drop off hosts many different corals and fish. It’s easily accessible by boat with only a 10 minute journey from the shore. Starting shallow, it slowly tapers down to a deeper depth of around 35m.

★★★★☆ Barracuda Drift

13 Minutes from the dive center is our most exciting drift dive. Good for both open water & advanced, enjoy floating along the coral covered reef with the help of a steady current to make it easy work! The MAX depth is around 30m.

★★★★☆ Lionfish Reef

Right off the beach, This dive site holds some beautiful topography and shallow sandy bottoms, ideal for teaching courses. Little to no current is an added joy of diving here.

This wall dive exceeds depths of 20m and even includes several swim throughs to add even more adventure to your dive. The swim through and the wall make a great combination of different dive types.

Just 8 minutes away by boat, this reef really lives up to its name. With a wide variety of corals and plenty of colours to see, its never a dull dive. Watch the edge of the reef slowly bank down as the beauty rock formations create lots of places for marine life to hide.

★★★★★ The Awakening Bull Shark Dive

10 minutes boat ride from Barefoot Kuata, this reef starts shallow at only 3m and slowly descends to 22m with shark feeding stations at both 12m & 22m. The Only dive site in the world where beginners can dive with bull sharks!

★★★★★ Nabaibai Passage

Hidden between two large reefs, this cave dive offers an exciting adventure into the unknown. Whilst using torches to light the way, see some of the creatures which hide within and enjoy an easy yet exhilarating dive.

★★★★☆ The Aisle

A 5 minute boat ride away is this beautiful wall dive. Wrapping around the skirt reef, The Aisle starts very deep and slowly gets shallower as you dive round the corner, into the lagoon.

★★★★☆ The Wall

This Wall dive is less than 2 minutes boat ride and is made up of a steep wall on one side and bommies on the other. With cave passages and swim throughs, there’s plenty to see and do here.

★★★★☆ Turtle Wall

This section of reef can be found just a few hundred metres from the beach and offers some very easy beginner level diving. It has shallow bommies and lots of interesting cracks in the reef to explore.

★★★★★ Village Reef

10 minutes away from the dive shop, we follow the coast round to a section known a village reef. A beautiful drift dive with lots to offer for differing abilities.

★★★★★ Pinnacle

This deep dive is a short boat ride away and is situated slightly further from the main reef. Almost as though you’re jumping into the deep blue, this dive site starts at 15m and goes all the way down to 35m on a single coral pinnacle.

★★★★☆ The Flinstone

7 minutes on boat ride from the beach. This reef dive is a great dive with depths of 20m and includes some lovely coral overhangs. Being inside the bay and using mooring lines, access to this reef is very easy! It can be use for training and has access to a cave and swim-through dive at 14 mts / 45 feet.

★★★★☆ Moya Reef

Moya Reef is the home to plenty of Reef Sharks, just a 15 minute boat ride away from Barefoot Kuata Resort you can find a winding Reef Wall with lots of swim throughs and small caves to make your dive extra adventurous. A sandy bottom reflects the sun rays and lets the water glow in a beautiful turquoise colour.
