The sunken supertanker site near Lark Island is one of the most popular dive sites in the area. Divers who dive here should be well-versed in scuba diving and have the skills required to dive deep near the wreck. Visibility is not always the best at this site and divers will occasionally encounter strong currents.

This very beautiful site can be a diving experience in submerged bodies for everyone, although this site is very small, but very beautiful and has a great view. The distance from this site to the diving center is about 25 minutes. The water depth at full tide is between 4 to 7 meters. This site is attached to Lark.

Southern Crack (★4.7)

Southern Crack is located in the southern region of Kish Island and due to its distance from the diving clubs of Kish Island, it has fewer visitors and this has caused this diving site to remain pristine. This attractive diving site consists of stepped cracks. which has a depth between 13 and 16 meters.

Top Wildlife Sightings in Iran

Iran, with its access to the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea, offers diverse marine life. In the Persian Gulf, divers can encounter vibrant reef fish such as parrotfish, angelfish, and butterflyfish. These species are common around coral reefs, thriving in the warm, shallow waters. The colorful presence of clownfish and damselfish also adds to the appeal for divers exploring these habitats.

Seasonal highlights include the occasional sightings of hawksbill turtles and green turtles, especially in the warmer months. Although less frequent, divers may spot eagle rays and the elusive whale shark, mainly during late spring and early summer, when they migrate through the area. The likelihood of encountering these species varies, with the southern parts of the Persian Gulf being more promising for larger marine life sightings due to its rich biodiversity and favorable conditions.
