Do you have a diving license, but have never dived in Holland or Zeeland? If you want to experience that, then this is the place to be. There is a lot to see under water and one of our Dive Professionals will explain the site and other useful tips that make diving a pleasure. Together with the guide, a "local" who knows what you see, you go into the water and discover the most beautiful spots of the dive site. Of course, you can also make two dives on the same day.

We have dives available Monday to Friday at 08:30, 11:30 and 14:30 and Saturday at 08:30 and 11:30. In Lanzarote we have some great dive sites to show you from both shore and boat. Some of the dive sites you may enjoy are the Blue Hole, Cathedral and the Red Coral. The Blue Hole is a nice swim through starting at around 18 metres and coming out around 25 metres. The Cathedral is a cavern, it has sponges encrusted on the walls and the ceiling. After you have spent some time in the cavern we come up and over it and swim through the bubble garden. (Our bubbles are slowly working their way through the volcanic rock). The Red Coral is a wall dive, larger fish like Tuna, Barracuda and White Trevallies can be seen here. For the boat dives, we have our own Trimaran hard boat. The boat takes around 10 minutes to get to the dive sites. Some of the boat dives you may enjoy are Waikiki, Punta Tiñosa and Los Arcos. These are a mixture of wall dives. Waikiki is a wall dive, we drop down to around 6 metres and then follow the lava flow arm down to 18 metres. There is a beautiful red coral here, then we follow along the wall and see what marine life we can find! We also have a couple of sets of wreck dives, the Harbour Wrecks and the Tiñosa Wrecks. The Harbour Wrecks is a set of 5 wrecks. The top wreck is at 18 metres. The rest are at a depth of 20-40 metres.

The Martin Baltimor was a World War II fighter plane that crashed into the water near Ikaria. The wreckage was found at 16 metres. Come with us and see the last Martin Baltimor to be found.

The sea! Mystical, exciting, beautiful! Around two thirds of the earth's surface is covered by the sea. Logically, the sea is therefore an enormously important space for humans. It serves as a habitat, as a transportation and trade route, as a source of food or simply as a place for recreation and sport. And although the world's oceans play such an important role in human history, only around 5% of them have been explored. At the same time, the part that is already known is being excessively used and exploited to supply people all over the world with marine products, often at the expense of ecosystems and marine organisms! If that were not enough, the sea also serves directly and indirectly as a garbage can and catch basin for all kinds of pollutants. Whether heavy metals, crude oil, microplastics or any kind of waste - all of these can now be found in the world's oceans. It is clear that the sea needs our help! This exhibition deals with the topics of marine use and marine pollution in a very vivid way!

UNDERWATER CLEAN UP - FEMALE ISLAND BECOMES A BLUE OCEANS AMBASSADOR It's no secret: Every year tens of thousands of marine animals and seabirds die because they eat or become entangled in trash in the ocean. This marine debris is known to devastate habitats (both underwater and on land), enter the food chain of aquatic life (in turn reaching our digestive systems), and foul once pristine and pristine coastal areas. 70 percent of the trash that ends up in our ocean sinks to the seafloor. Join the Underwater Clea Up program that harnesses the potential of divers and uses their love of the ocean to help solve the problem of underwater marine debris. We are proud to support this global citizen science project by conducting weekly cleanup dives in our precious coral reefs. How our Underwater Clean Up meeting works at Diving Center Saracen at 09:30 we will provide tanks, weights and net bags, so all you have to do is bring yourself and your diving equipment (equipment rental is available) Our dive starts at the Scalo Madonna dive site in Isola delle Femmine near the dive center and lasts 45-50 minutes, then all the debris collected after the dive will be separated and sorted so that we can identify the major sources of marine pollutants finally we will conclude with coffee and a brainstorming session on effective solutions we can implement locally to stop the waste at the source. Beach Clean Up in cooperation with Carlskrona Seal Divers

Meet near the Fludgers for 2.30pm and spend a while cleaning up the lovely beachline of Felixstowe with us at Ipswich Scuba then meet for some fish and chips at 4 pm before heading home. The plan is to litter pick from 2.30 pm until 4pm. If possible, please bring a high vis jacket and if you have gloves that would be highly recommended. We can supply the rest. Please let us know if you are coming and bring friends/family to join in. Numbers known are ideal so we can source enough litter pickers, bags and anything else you might need.

Here at Ipswich Scuba, we are proud Blue Oceans Ambassadors and Conservationists. Which is why we plan to host a number of events each year around Conserving our planet and the wonderful Oceans we get to dive. Sadly sometimes litter builds up in our surrounding area on Hines Road, therefore we invite you to join us cleaning up our local area and then come to the shop for a cuppa and at out August event join us for our annual BBQ.

Introduction to the aquatic environment (freshwater) - types of water, basic bio/physical processes and how they affect us as divers (e.g. visibility, how to measure, how where changes throughout the year and why) + a brief overview of life in freshwater, which will be covered in detail in a follow-up lecture series not just for divers.

In the summer months (May - October) we meet every Friday at 5 pm at the diving school for a fun dive, followed by the opportunity to talk shop, plan further activities or have a barbecue together.
