To enroll in SSI's Open Water Diver Course, you must be at least 10 years old and know how to swim. In SSI's Open Water Diver Course, you'll learn how to safely breathe underwater with a regulator and air tank, how to slowly ascend and descend in order to prevent decompression sickness, how to properly care for diving equipment, and much more. Oahu’s shipwrecks have unique stories, but they were sunk as artificial reefs. The YO-257 and Sea Tiger are not the only wrecks we have, but they are the biggest and best on our side of the island. These dives tend to be about 100’ deep and are far enough offshore for pelagic encounters. We're launching Bleachwatch Global at Crucian Adventure Divers in collaboration with Mote Marine Laboratory! Join us July 3rd 2026 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Crucian Adventure Divers Dive Center for a hand-on-citizen science experience designed for both snorkelers and divers. Participants will receive a 1.5 hour interactive training led by Mote Marine Laboratory staff, Guidance on identifying and documenting coral bleaching, A guided snorkel or scuba dive to apply skills in real world field conditions, Official Bleachwatch report submission training, Bleachwatch global certifications. Your observations can help scientists monitor reef health, detect bleaching events early, and support long-term coral conservation. No prior experiene is required--every report helps. Scuba dive every Tuesday during the summer. Starts in June.  Show up around 5 pm and splash at 5:30 at Moby's exclusive on-site dive lake. No need to schedule. Bring your dive-buddy, or we'll assist in getting you a buddy. Join us for the 12th Annual International Women’s Dive Day on July 18th, 2026! Originally created by PADI, Women’s Dive Day has become an international phenomenon in it’s 12-year history and is celebrated by all. Over the years, this widely celebrated event has brought divers and water enthusiasts together from across the globe to celebrate women’s contributions to the sport of scuba diving, as well as diversity and inclusion in our aquatic world. “EVERYONE is welcome” We will be playing funky beach tunes and making new dive buddies all day. 8:00am – Event Starts We will start the day right off at 8am with Try Scubas and Mermaids! 12:00pm – Cake and snacks provided. Divers and mermaids are welcome to bring snacks to share. 1:00pm – Meet a buddy dives We will have a fun “Meet a buddy” game. Come mix things up, meet a new buddy, and go for a dive. 3:00pm – Dive with the mermaids at the platform! CALLING ALL MERMAIDS! Certified mermaids will have a chance to go for a short swim out to our training platforms for some photos and a chance to say hello! Make sure to wave to the beach goers. 4:00pm – End of Event

You have asked and we have heard you! Indy Dive Center will open for regular recreational diving from 12pm – 6pm on a Friday of every month all season. (Usually the last Friday of every month.) Get to the water and have a little fun before the busy weekend crowds. Regular daily diving admission applies.

Inviting all merfolk! Join us at Indy Dive Center for a “Mermaid Meet Up!” Merfolk will have access to our confined and open water training areas to meet other mermaids, show and “tail” all your new mermaid gear, and make magic! Mermaids will gather to: Meet other mermaids Show and “tail” about your new mermaid gear Go for a guided swim in open water with a certified SSI Mermaid Instructor Mermaids with Open Water Training will also have opportunity to go for some “loggable” swim time (Ocean Mermaid or Advanced Mermaid Certifications required) Opportunities for photos in water, at the water’s edge, and access to the beautiful falls at France Park. (Safety first! Photos at the falls must have attendants or merwranglers to assist) Private access to training areas and platforms for staging gear and in-water activities. (Friends, family, and pets are asked to remain in the main beach area.) Minimum age is 12 years old. Participants must be able to swim (including in their tail), medically fit for open water mermaid activities, and comfortable in deep water Regular gate fees and daily admission apply ($25) Mermaids are asked to complete our digital waiver prior to arrival (same as our scuba diving waiver) Non-certified mermaids will be asked to use a floatation device for in-water activity. Masks and snorkels are required for open water mermaid swimming.
