Lake Phoenix

★★★★☆ (29,605)

This is one of the clearest quarries on the East Coast. Diving here is fun for all levels of divers, with many intentionally sunk objects to explore.

Wildlife here is abundant. You can expect to see plenty of Bluegill, Pumpkinseeds, and Largemouth Bass. At night the Fry Bluegill are plenty along with Crawfish if you look closely!

Add a wetsuit and receive 15% off all items.Add Enriched Air(Nitrox) to your certification! What’s Nitrox and Why Should I Care? When you learn to dive, most tanks are filled with normal air — the same stuff you’re breathing right now. Nitrox (short for Enriched Air Nitrox) is just air with a little extra oxygen mixed in.Why does that matter? More oxygen means less nitrogen, and that helps in two big ways:You can often stay underwater a little longer before needing to come up.You’ll usually feel less tired after diving, especially on repeat dives in a day.Think of it as a small upgrade that makes diving more comfortable and enjoyable, especially if you plan on doing a lot of dives on a trip. When you sign up for your Open Water course, you can add the Nitrox certification at a discounted rate — so you’ll finish your training already set up with an extra skill that most divers add later anyway. Please Fill out the following medical form as soon as you register, in case you answer “yes” so that you have time to see your doctor before class and and upload to SSI:Check the SSI medical form. If you answer “YES” to any of the medical questions, Please take the medical form to your doctor for a medical evaluation and sign off. Participation in a diving course requires your doctors approval before the first day of in water class if you answered yes on the medical form.Set up your profile at Divessi.com and choose Tri-City SCUBA as your Dive Center**Private or special group lessons may be arranged. Cost may differ from the regular published prices and schedule.
