Tour Description Whale Shark Tour Itinerary Our Whale shark tour departs everyday at 8:15 am (meeting time 8:00 am at the dive shop if staying on the island) We provide drinks such as bottled water and sodas. As soon as we arrive to the area we start going in the water two participants at a time with our experienced guide. We will give you all the time you need to swim with them, always taking turns. Our amazing captain does a great job by positioning the boat in a way that the whale shark will pass right next to you when you enter the water! We may also swim with huge mantas, turtles and even dolphins! We never know what the ocean has to offer us each day. After this we will offer you sandwiches while we are returning to the Island. Then we will go to the nicest beach of our island, North Beach where we stop the boat in shallow water for you to relax, take a bath and have a drink while our crew prepares a fresh and delicious ceviche for everybody. After lunch we return to the dock at approximately between 1 and 2 pm. We have vegetarian lunch available. Chinchorro is a marine reserve located 35 kilometers from Mahahual, it is the largest atoll in the northern hemisphere and the second largest in the world. , the trip to get there can take as little as 50 minutes or as little as 2.5 hours, depending on the weather. It has been a marine reserve since 1996 and that makes it one of the best preserved diving sites in Mexico. It's like traveling back in time!!!!
