Chankanaab Bolones
★★★★☆
(282)
This reef is in front of Chakanaab Park. Mild currents make this a good dive for novices. The abundance of sea life make this an interesting dive for all levels, although it can be deeper in some areas (average 21m/ 70 feet) so good air consumption is important to maximize bottom time.
Generally the current will run from North to South, sometimes picking up the cool fresh water from the Chankanaab lagoon. It is sandy with large coral formations.
