The SSI Classified Diving program provides adaptive training for students with limited mobility and/or sensory disorders, allowing them to dive with one or more Classified Dive Buddies, or a Classified Dive Professional. First in a pool/confined water environment, then potentially in the open water. You can only access the pristine reefs at Eastpoint from the boat, we leave around 08.30AM and return around 03.00PM. We will visit the best diving spots of the Southern Caribbean. This dive site is technically a double reef, with the first reef starting near the beach and the second reef reaching into the depths, with a sand valley running in between. Easily accessible from the shore. You'll find typical Caribbean life such as nurse and reef sharks, possibly eagle rays, turtles, stingrays, and tons of fish: snappers, angelfish, grunts, parrotfish, and groupers.

2 Dive Sites Away from the Tourist Hot SpotsFirst: Double ReefThe first reef drops to about 14m, where it ends in a sandy bottom. From there you can see the second reef. The second reef starts at about 18m and drops down to 30m and deeper.Turtles are a common sight here, as are perch, porcupine fish, scorpionfish, green moray eels, and boxfish.Next: Fisherman`s Wharf / Water FactoryIn front of the old water factory lies this beautiful, healthy shallow coral reef. There are many different hard corals and large barrel sponges and orange elephant ear sponges with a shallow wall right at the end of the coral reef.The reef is full of fish life and you can often find porcupine fish, barracuda, knightfish and angelfish. Lionfish usually hide in the crevices along the wall.

You have to swim a bit to get to the reef.The typical life in the Caribbean can be seen, such as nurse and reef sharks, possibly eagle rays, turtles, stingrays and many snappers, angelfish, grunts, parrotfish and groupers. Lots of large purple and yellow tube sponges.

This site is an easy entrance on the right-hand side of the pier, directly under the car park. Sandy bottom with the coral reef starting at 5 m /15 ft and the drop off at 10 m / 30 ft. At 35 m /115 ft the reef turns into a sandy bottom again.Home to schools of snappers, creole wrasse, and Chromis where you can also find scorpionfish, stingrays, and octopus.

Other highlight is the Mushroom Forest, over time, the hard coral formations of this dive site have developed in the form of mushrooms. Underneath each of these beautiful coral formations, an abundance of marine life awaits for you to admire and photograph. The shallow shelf gradually descends to a depth of around 6 meters, where the reef starts. The reef gradually descends to a sand floor at a depth of 30 meters or 100 feet. To a depth of 18 meters or 60 feet, the reef mainly consists of brain coral and smooth- and great star coral. Remarkably large brain corals, high pillar corals and star corals sharped like stacks of pancakes are found here.

Klein Curacao, or “Little Curacao,” is a small uninhabited island located about 10 kilometers southeast of the main island of Curacao. It is known for its white sand beaches, turquoise waters and pristine coral reefs. This remote location offers divers the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular underwater environment without the crowds sometimes encountered at other dive sites. The diving features spectacular vertical walls, underwater caves, and a very healthy population of turtles and other large marine life. We meet at the boat at 06.30AM, the crossing takes 1.5 hours, we have breakfast on the beach, afterwards we get ready for our first dive. After our first dive we enjoy a BBQ on the beach and relax on the longest beach of Curacao. In the afternoon we get ready for a second dive to get back to the main island of Curacao around 05.00PM.
