As a Nitrox diver you can increase your bottom times or safety margins and of course shorten surface intervals - so you can spend more time exploring the dive sites you love most and less time waiting! In this program, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge while learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures containing up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification.

The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty program teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers. You'll learn how to recognize stress, prevent accidents and learn practical techniques to perform rescues and provide emergency care. With a combination of sessions in the pool and in open water, you'll be well prepared and confident in handling emergencies and rescue situations. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.

The SSI Deep Diving Specialty teaches you everything you need to dive to depths between 18 and 40 meters through a mix of theory and open water diving. You'll learn how to plan and make your deep diving adventures safe and use computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most out of your deep dives. Upon completion, you will earn your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites wherever you want. This SSI specialty is also a requirement for other advanced courses making it the next logical step to get your Deep Diver certification.

Become an SSI Open Water Instructor on Bonaire at Wanderlust Dive Center. Our Instructor Training Course is designed for motivated divers who want to take the next professional step in a small-scale, personalized and high-quality learning environment. We train in small groups of no more than four candidates, so you will receive intensive guidance, clear feedback and a complete understanding of what SSI expects from you as a future instructor. The training covers all theory lessons, pool lessons, open water sessions, professional skills, didactics and complete preparation for the Instructor Evaluation. Bonaire offers perfect diving conditions all year round. That makes it the ideal place to develop your skills, refine your teaching and go to the IE with confidence. The course is taught by an experienced SSI Instructor Trainer and focuses on quality, safety and the ability to teach professionally in practice.
