★★★★☆ Tugboat

Tugboat is Curacao’s most famous dive and snorkel spot due to its shallow depth. It was wrecked just off the shore of Caracasbaai and sits in only 15 feet of water. The tugboat is crawling with marine life and is now covered in sponges and coral growth.

★★★★☆ Double Reef

Scubaçao, Willemstad

★★★★☆ Marie Pampoen

A calm, easy shore dive where you enter the water from a small harbor. 20-30 meters out from the harbor you will find an interesting artificial reef made from dumped cars, cranes, and more scraps. Sometimes large tarpon hang around here.

Scubaçao, Willemstad

★★★★☆ Jan Thiel baai

This bay is located at a busy beach so feel free to bring the family! Entering the water is easy and under water you will find a wreck and a platform, lots of sandy bottom up to a depth of 15m.

★★★★☆ Water Factory / Fisherman’s Wharf

In front of the old water factory lies this gorgeous healthy shallow coral reef. There are lots of different hard corals and large barrel sponges and orange elephant ear sponges with a shallow steep wall just at the end of the coral reef.

★★★★☆ Cornelius Bay

Very nice dive to the left of the Sea Aquarium. Can be hard to reach, however, with a bit of a climb. When entering from shore watch out for the shallow elkhorn coral formations.

★★★★☆ Parasasa Beach / Crash Site

In 1942 the USS Erie was torpedoed in this area and put ashore. From the ship a Kingfisher plane was thrown overboard and you can still find some wreckage of the plane as well as some parts of the Erie here. The ship itself is not here and was sunk several miles of the coast.
