C-55 Barrera (Wreck)
The TC-55 USS SCUFFLES (AM 283)—renamed ARM Teniente Juan de la Barrera C-55—was scuttled in Cancún, Mexico, in the year 2000 to serve as a dive site. Due to its depth, it is recommended primarily for advanced divers.
The artificial reef has evolved into a true magnet for fish and other inhabitants of this area. It provides a home for thousands of inhabitants within the emerging ecosystem.
