Lake Scooba
Lake Scooba is a man-made lake with a clay and sand bottom. Just 20 minutes from the Scooba Shack, this lake features a wide shift in visibility and temperature depending on the weather and season. Max depth is usually around 35 ft.
Because the pH is usually just slightly below 7, not much grows in this lake. There are some bass and bream, sometimes turtles, also fish-eating birds like bald eagles and ospreys.
