(249)
This area is a popular flyflishing destination, but also makes for an interesting dive a few months of the year. Bennett Springs in south central Missouri is the water source for trout-stocked streams that attract fishermen most of the year. Average conditions produce gin-clear water.
This spring is known for it’s rainbow trout. Divers can also see native sculpin, minnows, and the occasional sucker or catfish, crayfish, muskrats, beaver, mink, and otter.
