The Sandbar Site is a local favorite for boaters. It’s a large area in the lake that is very shallow, coming within 3 ft. of the surface. Many boats will raft together for a day of partying on the lake.
A few catfish and perch can be seen at this site with the occasional largemouth bass. With the bottom mostly made up of sand and no structure there’s not a lot of fish.
