Requirements for diving.
The plane wreck lies in a 16 metre deep trench, about 12-15 minutes swimming distance from the shore. Variable currents are to be expected, so it is recommended for experienced beginners, but more advanced divers. It is important that the group stays together and follows the leader at all times. Once out at the wreck, you can swim around it, but you cannot swim over it or touch it. It is strictly forbidden to take any parts from or around the wreck. You don't need that propeller guard at home :) Photography is allowed near the wreck and the driver is happy to take individual or group photos. Please discuss the need for this before diving. At the detailed briefing you will discuss dive depth, pairs, turn back time and what to do in case of an emergency. You must give at least one day's notice of your dive request, as it is compulsory to notify the port authority and the Ministry of Culture of the date and number of divers.
