SSI also uses cookies on the website. Cookies are small text files that our server sends to your browser during your visit to our website and which are stored on your device. We and third-party providers partly use these cookies to process personal data. These third-party providers include Google LLC, which is based in the United States and processes data there. Where your personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection by transferring it only to countries with an adequate level of protection confirmed by the European Commission, or by entering into a transfer agreement containing the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses with the legal entity outside the EU/EEA receiving the data. In other cases, the data transfer may be based on Art. 49 (1) 1 GDPR. You may obtain a copy of the appropriate safeguards by contacting us via email at privacy@divessi.com.
SSI stores your data as long as your Scubago account is active, and SSI will retain your data for the duration of the contractual relationship you maintain with us. In certain cases, SSI may be legally required to retain specific information for specific periods. In other cases, SSI may retain data for a reasonable period after the termination of a relationship with you to protect itself against legal claims or to manage its business.
If you do not activate your account within 12 months after registration, the account and user data will automatically be deleted from the system.
In addition to the right of access, you also have, regarding your personal data, the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability. The right to erasure applies only to the extent that there are no overriding legitimate interests on the part of SSI and no statutory retention obligations exist. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.
