Knowledge developement, certification is valid worldwide. allow you to dive to 18 meters with a certified dive buddy. Divers  age 10-14  years will earn a Jr. Open Water Diver certification. - with 10-11 years the restricted depth is max. 12 meters. Coast El-Quesir offers year-round diving opportunities, with water temperatures ranging from 22°C–28°C/72°F–82°F. The warmest period is during the summer months, while the winter brings cooler waters. Visibility is typically excellent, often exceeding 25 meters, making it a favored spot for divers.

Weather conditions are generally stable, with occasional wind and currents, particularly between December and February, which may affect diving conditions. While diving is possible throughout the year, the spring and autumn months are considered ideal due to milder weather and calm seas, providing optimal diving experiences.

Top Wildlife Sightings in Coast El-Quesir

Coast El-Quesir is home to a vibrant array of marine life, making it a popular destination for divers. The coral reefs are bustling with common reef fish such as butterflyfish, angelfish, and parrotfish. These colorful species are frequently seen, offering divers an enchanting underwater experience.

Seasonal highlights include sightings of larger marine creatures. From June to September, divers have a good chance of encountering green sea turtles and hawksbill turtles. During these months, reef sharks and eagle rays are also more commonly spotted, particularly in deeper waters or near the drop-offs. While sightings are not guaranteed, the likelihood increases with more dives, especially at sites known for such encounters.
