Mersing is a cosy beach town on the south east coast of Johor, Malaysia. The coast lies where the South China Sea and the Java Sea meet. The best Months to Dive in Mersing
One of the many reasons that this area of the world is so popular for diving is because of the ideal diving conditions. The weather here is warm throughout the year and the rainy season only lasts for three months; from December to February, meaning nine months a year of great diving conditions. The water temperatures here range between 27°C and 30°C, in other words, warm throughout the year. The visibility ranges between 10 and 25 metres, the lowest visibility being during the rainy season and the warmest month of the year which is August.

1. Tioman Island

This site features 12 Thai fishing boat wrecks, providing a thrilling drift dive experience. The site is advanced due to strong currents, suitable for scuba divers. Divers encounter colorful corals and schools of fish, making it a photogenic spot.
4. Chebeh Island
Chebeh Island is characterized by large volcanic rock formations that create caves and swim-throughs. It's an advanced dive site for scuba diving, where divers might see manta rays, whale sharks, and reef sharks. The unique geological features enhance the adventure.
5. Renggis Island
