Myles, Mario and Alessandra: we are the three owners of Brothers Diving! We met in Malta where we worked together as diving professionals at the same dive centre. Prior to that we all came from very different backgrounds and careers paths, something we believe makes it easier for us to fulfil your needs as a diver.
If you want easy all year round diving, then you have come to the right place. With reliable weather and beautiful clear blue waters teeming with wildlife from the smallest nudibranch right up to whales with everything in between. Diving in Gran Canaria really puts the pleasure into diving. Whether it’s wrecks or reefs that you love diving, here at Brothers we have the perfect dive sites for you no matter the weather, all year round! Having the option of diving with Nitrox is valuable for our customers for safer diving, increased bottom times and of course feeling less tired after diving thus maximising your options for other activities after diving.
At Brothers Diving we have used our combined 40 years of diving experience with lots of time and research to ensure we are providing the optimal and best equipment we can for our divers to use.
We have “cherry picked” from the main various Scuba Manufacturers the equipment we truly feel is best suited for learning and also for pleasure diving. We only wear the best, and we believe therefore you should too! This includes and is not limited to: - high quality wetsuits from Fourth Element and Scubapro - high quality masks from Cressi - the best recreational fins from Tecline - some integrated pocket BCDs from Mares - and of course, having our own “in house” Coltri Air and Nitrox compressors.
Tufia (Playa de Tufia) located just north of the Airport. A small beach/bay is accessed via a well maintained pedestrian road from the upper car park down to waters edge, this is quite a steep hill on the way back up, it will test your aerobic abilities for sure ;-) Depth ranges from 15-21m, recommend Open water +.
Located near Arinaga, about 20 minutes journey from the centre is the Arinaga Marine Reserve, this location has 4/5 different dive routes, ranging from 10m to 31m, lots of Marine life, small caverns, swim throughs and schoals of fish in abundant supply.
The Meteor or El Pajar wreck is the remains of a Russian hydrofoil that sank back in the early 2000’s. Seen the wreck is in the entry of a commercial port, it was destroyed in an attempt to keep the divers away. Despite this attempt, the wreck remains home to quite some wildlife.
Nice U-shaped reef formed by volcanic rocks. With a depth of maximum 15 meters, an ideal site for beginners and advanced divers. In the late afternoon there is often a mild to heavy current.
The dive spot of Pasito Blanco is situated about five minutes from the sports beach in Pasito Blanco at the south of the island. The sea floor is like a rectangular morphology up to 60 meters long and 16 meters wide. A visit to Pasito Blanco to explore all the nooks and crannies can reveal a whole variety of life.
A large number of concrete sculptures (cubes, tubes, pyramids) form a great habitat for quite some sea life. The sandy bottom forms a great contrast with the sculptures.
Arguineguin Reef, located just outside the port of Arguineguin, is formed by a long stretched rock reef. This close-by dive location is following the border between the sandy bottom and a rocky natural volcanic reef. In the many holes and hideaways you find a large variety of sealife. Besides the different species.
Just in front of the Anfi Del Mar harbour wall, you will find a nice circular reef at about 22 meters deep. In all the cracks there is quite some life. Typically large groups of snappers and barracudas hare surrounding the reef
