Meteor, Arguineguin, Gran Canaria
★★★★☆
(474)
The Meteor or El Pajar wreck is the remains of a Russian hydrofoil that sank back in the early 2000’s. Seen the wreck is in the entry of a commercial port, it was destroyed in an attempt to keep the divers away. Despite this attempt, the wreck remains home to quite some wildlife.
The wreck is the hiding place for rays, cuttlefish, snappers and moray eels. In the wider environment you will find sea grass areas.
