The SSI Deep Diving Specialty will teach you everything you need to dive to depths between 18 and 40 meters, through a mix of theory sessions and open water dives. You'll learn how to safely plan and execute your deep diving adventures, and how to use computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most out of your deep dives. On completion of this course, you'll receive your Deep Diving SSI Specialty certification and be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites wherever you choose. This SSI Specialty is also a prerequisite for certain additional training courses, making it the next logical step in your diver training.

The SSI Science of Diving Specialty course provides you with a comprehensive understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body. The course is the foundation for most SSI Professional courses and some Extended Range courses and is an essential part of deepening your diving knowledge. You can complete your SSI Science of Diving Specialty certification online from the comfort of your own home. Upon completion of the course, you will be halfway to the coveted SSI Divemaster and receive your Science of Diving certification.

The Assistant Instructor is the next logical step after the Divemaster on your way to becoming an Instructor. It gives you the chance to gain valuable teaching experience, practice dive briefings, teach theory lessons and take over practical dive training. If you want to advance your career as an SSI Professional, you can complete the Instructor Training course, pass the Instructor Evaluation and qualify as an Open Water Instructor.

This dive site has been in operation since 2009 and is located about 30 minutes from Strasbourg. With a depth of up to 40 m, it is a pleasure for both beginners and advanced divers. Slopes, steep walls, ravines and plateaus provide variety during your dives. Perch and sunfish, carp, pike, sturgeon, roach and roach can be found alongside hydras and a rare species, the crystalline lophopod. Many plants are visible up to 12 m.

The La Gombe sandstone quarry is located near the river "The Ourthe", not far from the picturesque Esneux and is one of the most beautiful quarries in Belgium. The most conspicuous inhabitants are large sturgeons that glide slowly across the bottom. Carp, perch, koi carp, roach, barbel, freshwater sponges and algae also live here.

Barrage l'Eau d'Heures is a varied dive site located in the largest water area in Belgium. The lake is easily accessible and offers a large number of underwater objects as well as a unique underwater biotope. Barrage l'Eau d'Heures is definitely worth a dive, with pike, roach, trout, perch and eel. In the fall you can also see freshwater walls. There are crayfish and snails between the branches of the tree stumps, stones are covered with zebra mussels and swan mussels can be found at the bottom.

Where only 6 years ago lime was mined, today there is a beautiful lake. Covering an area of around five hectares and with depths of up to 54 meters, it currently has five dive sites offering everything a diver's heart could desire. The shallow water area of our Hunsfels (dive site 1) is overgrown with aquatic plants and is home to all kinds of young fish (perch, zander, trout, etc.)
