Where lime was mined 6 years ago, today a dreamlike lake stretches out. On an area of about five hectares and with depths of up to 54 meters, it currently offers five dive sites everything that makes the diver's heart beat faster. With fantastic visibility, mostly over 10 meters.
It is an old red marble quarry that was exploited until the 1980’s. A oblique plane going down from, 4m to 6m (the height varies according to the seasons), then the quarry is made up of plateaus at depths of 22m, 26m, 36m, 40m, 43m and 52m with steep walls.
Barrage l’Eau d’Heures is a varied dive site, located in the largest water area in Belgium. The lake is easily accessible and offers a unique underwater biotope in addition to a large number of underwater objects. Barrage is definitely worth a dive.
This dive site is an old marble quarry located in the village of Vodelée, near Philippeville. Pink and gray marble was mined here, and every now and then you can still see some underwater.
TODI, The Ultimate Diving Experience, is a gigantic indoor diving pool 10 meters deep and 36 meters in diameter, with more than 6,200,000 liters of water and a consistent temperature of 23°.
One of the most famous deep dive sites in NRW. The maximum depth is around 42 meters. There are many training platforms at different depths. The local diving regulations must be observed. There is a detailed diving map on the website.
The sandstone quarry La Gombe is located near the river “The Ourthe,“ not far from the picturesque Esneux and is counted among the most beautiful quarries in Belgium.
A diving site since 2009, it is located around 30 minutes from Strasbourg. It's a delight for beginners and advanced divers alike, with depths of up to 40m. Slopes, drop-offs, canyons and plateaus are all there to vary your dives.
Wonderful natural lake for swimming, snorkeling, yoga, standup paddling and diving. Perfect for beginners and/or a leisurely dive. Currently there are 2 entrances.
20 metres deep, 10 metres in diameter and over 3,000,000 litres of water. The visibility here is of course excellent. It remains the ideal place to practice, try out and train over the winter.
The Villers-Deux-Eglises quarry is a former iron ore and red marble extraction quarry. In the second half of the 16th century, it supplied marble for the decoration of abbeys in the Aisne, Oise and Mons.
Divetower with 3 different depths 5m, 10m and 15m. Site has to be reserved via www.coque.lu for max. 1h per session. The site is in an olympic swim center.
10 meters deep, indoor pool with leisure pool and lovely sauna area. The visibility here is of course great. The ideal place for practicing diving skills, freediving and staying in training over the winter.
The quarry offers a wide range of diving opportunities, with depths varying between 24 and 30 metres depending on the water level. The large infrastructure and the numerous services available allow the organisation of comfortable diving trips all year round.
Good place for freediving. Very good entry via the floating bridge. The bridge can be used to attach the buoy. Maximum depth in the middle of the bridge +/- 28m depending on the water level of the reservoir.
