
North of the Fernpass, at almost 1100 m, lies the 25 m deep Blindsee Lake. High fish abundance, sunken landscapes of roots and trees in combination with unbelievable visibility allow for fantastic dives. Tthere is also a lot to discover for the macro-lovers.
The Post in Überlingen is a challenging dive site and therefore not suitable for novice divers. The steep wall with overhang is unfortunately often underestimated by divers and serious diving accidents occur. Diving is only allowed to the left at this site.
Picturesquely situated in the mountains with Fernstein Castle on the shore, the scenery of Fernstein Lake is incredible! But also underwater, the lake, which lies at almost 1000 m, has a lot to offer: above-average visibility with sunken tree trunks full of slime forming a mystical landscape.
Chargeable sunbathing lawn for divers; separate chargeable car park; because of the campsite always well-disposed holiday guests, relaxed atmosphere; beautiful mountain and lake scenery. The attractions (up to 32m depth) are close to the entry point, therefore comfortable diving; drifting fishing lines possible.
South of Augsburg is the groundwater-fed Ilse Lake with a maximum depth of 15 m. Through designated protection zones and a strict ecological concept, this lake has an impressive underwater flora and fauna. You cannot believe that you are in a quarry pond!
In the middle of the Reutte nature park region lies the Urisee bathing lake. With visibility between 3 and 20 m at a depth of almost 40 m, sunken trees, various fish, and smaller sights offer a lot of variety. Exercise platforms allow exercises to be carried out in a nature-friendly manner.
This is an advanced dive site that is popular with experienced recreational and technical divers. Due to the steep wall and depth, visibility is usually good.
Dive site for experienced divers. The steep wall drops down to 22m. However, the wall is the smaller challenge, rather it is the engine noise of the ferries between Meersburg and Konstanz that can be heard throughout the dive.
From the parking lot you can reach the entrance via a gravel path. Caution! The stone stairs can be very slippery! The dive site consists mainly of a shallow sloping heap. The course extends from 5 to about 20m. The platform is located in the 5m area to the left of the entrance.
Winter dive site! Diving allowed only from 31 October to 15 March. Check ferry schedules before diving! This site is more for advanced divers. Steep walls and cold water can very quickly lead to mental limits.
Dredged lake with varied underwater landscapes, rich flora and fauna, combined with very good infrastructure on land, offers everyone - from beginners to experienced divers - perfect conditions for a great diving day!
The privately owned Samarangersee is the little brother of the Fernsteinsee and is considered one of the most beautiful freshwater lakes in Europe. The lake, which lies at an altitude of around 1000 m, shows a landscape of sunken trees, which form a fairytale underwater world through their growth.
The entry is best accessed directly from the parking lot. It goes over gravel comfortably into the water. There you can also put on your fins on in the water.
