Grotte à Corail, Lion de Mer
★★★★☆
(126)
The "Lion de la mer" dive site is one of the richest in flora and fauna in the Fréjus Saint Raphaël region. The coral cave lies at a depth of around 30-33m. This dive can be combined with a visit to the "Voilier" wreck at 36-38m.
A rocky cliff, then a grotto full of gorgonians, moray eels, groupers, conger eels and, above all, the jewel of the grotto: Mediterranean red coral. There are also many crustaceans and sea snails (nudibranchs).
