The "Lion de Mer" or "Sea Lion" rock is located in the bay of Saint-Raphaël and is easily accessible by boat. One of the most beautiful sites in the Fréjus Saint-Raphaël region, it is suitable for divers of all levels. It offers all types of scenery: sand, seagrass, caves and rock. You'll need several dives to discover all it has to offer.
Located at Cap Dramont, at the foot of the colorful Mont de l'Estérel, the "Pyramides" dive site consists of a succession of rocky mountains with rock heads at different depths (6-40m). The light reflects amazingly off the rocky peaks and posidonia meadows and the strip of sand that separates them.
L'île d'or is the island that inspired Monsieur Hergé for his comic strip "Tintin et l'île noire" (Tintin and the Black Island). Located off Cap Dramont, its beautiful ochre colors extend underwater. The whole region offers a dozen diving sites for all levels of diver, including the most famous: Les Pyramides.
Located at the exit of the harbor of Santa Lucia, this site is for confirmed divers ... The access is done in the rocks by foot, then swimming before Immersion, the number of diving is rather limited on this site which preserves all its wild character. A local wonder.
The "Lion de la mer" dive site is one of the richest in flora and fauna in the Fréjus Saint Raphaël region. The coral cave lies at a depth of around 30-33m. This dive can be combined with a visit to the "Voilier" wreck at 36-38m.
Off Cap Dramont, at the foot of the ochre-colored Esterel massif, this site consists of a rock which is pierced at around 20m, allowing divers to cross the rock. Head of rock at 8m.
Two rocks side by side form a small canyon rich in Mediterranean flora and fauna. Beginners will be able to access the rocks with their many crevices, home to crustaceans and slugs. Experts will be delighted with the big blue and a gradual descent along several drop-offs.
The "Sea Lion" dive site is located off the coast of Santa Lucia harbor. This rock, inhabited by families of seabirds, is one of the most famous dive sites in the Fréjus St Raphaël region. This "pool" is very useful for sheltering boats in bad weather!
