The Assistant Instructor rating is the next step after you become a Divemaster on the scuba diving instructor path. It allows you to gain valuable teaching experience, practice instruction, teach academic content, and conduct training in the water. If you want to advance your career as a dive professional, you can complete the Instructor Training Course, pass the Instructor Assessment, and become an Open Water Dive Instructor.
