Assistant Instructor (AI) Course prior to the ITC

This course will be preceded by the AI/ITC Prep Course. A 2-day program to help ensure you are going into the AI/ITC fully aware. Then the AI Course is a 4-day program which helps you earn the AI rating. It is specifically for Divemasters who are interested in working their way to Open Water Instructor. As an Assistant Instructor, you can conduct all SSI Ecology Programs, earn Instructor ratings for 9 different Specialties, and assist in a greater capacity with the SSI Open Water Diver Program.Schedule is as follows:

• Recommended Check-in - 5/1/2022
• Prep Course - 5/2 & 3
• Assistant Instructor - 5/4 - 7 (This program is these dates)
• Instructor Training Course (ITC) - 5/8 - 11
• Instructor Evaluation (IE) - 5/12 & 13 (with Orientation Meeting the evening of 5/11)
• Recommended Check-out - 5/14
