React Right is SSI's first aid course and provides the training needed to be a first responder in a medical emergency. In this flexible program, you can choose which topics you want to cover, including first aid, CPR and primary stabilization techniques. You can also learn about emergency oxygen delivery while diving and the basics of automatic external defibrillators (AED). Using a combination of theory and practical training scenarios, this program will give you the tools and confidence you need for emergency response. The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty program teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers. You'll learn how to recognize stress, prevent accidents and learn practical techniques to perform rescues and provide emergency care. With a combination of sessions in the pool and in open water, you'll be well prepared and confident in handling emergencies and rescue situations. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.
