Become a certified Dive Guide / Divemaster with SSI The Dive Guide program is the first step in an exciting project. Learn to safely guide certified divers in a variety of environments and conditions. By giving dive briefings, performing site assessments and leading dives, you'll become a confident dive guide in no time. Start your diving career working as a Professional Dive Guide or pursue qualifications to become a Divemaster. Cost of training: - Dive Guide: 999€ - DiveMaster: 1099€ + sciences of diving Candidate prerequisites for Dive Guide training: Minimum age: 15 years (must be 18 to be certified as a Professional Dive Guide in active status). Have completed at least 40 Open Water dives totaling at least 25 hours. Hold the following SSI certifications, or their equivalent issued by a recognized training agency: Diver Stress & Rescue Hold the following SSI certifications, or their equivalent issued by a recognized training agency, or provide proof of at least five (5) dives of validated experience in each of the following areas: Deep Diving | Depth greater than 30 meters Navigation Night & Limited Visibility Note | The candidate is not required to be certified in the applicable specialty if he/she provides proof of experience dives and the instructor can verify the candidate's ability to demonstrate mastery of the skills required by the specialty.
