The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty teaches you to dive safely with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. You will discover how Nitrox reduces nitrogen buildup in your body, giving you more dive time and faster recovery between dives. After obtaining this certification, you may use Nitrox tanks up to 40% O₂ worldwide, significantly increasing your flexibility and safety - especially on repetitive dives and multi-day trips. The course consists of two 3-hour theory sessions each, supplemented by a 1-hour hands-on workshop where you will learn to analyze, plan and log Nitrox dives. No water dives will be conducted.
