Extended Range Nitrox Diving

The SSI Extended Range Nitrox course provides a thorough introduction to the concepts, techniques and procedures required when planning decompression dives with nitrox. Designed both as a stand-alone program and as a first step to becoming an SSI Extended Range diver, this air-enriched course provides the fundamental skills that are the foundation for all future technical programs. Using an XR Sidemount or a Total Dive System with a twin cylinder, this course prepares divers to plan and conduct dives, with limited decompression, to a maximum depth of 40 m. It will also teach you the techniques and procedures for using breathing gas up to 100 percent oxygen, for decompression.
