Extended Range Sidemount Diving

Exploring an overhead environment, such as developed cave systems and large wrecks, is an exciting experience. However, it can be a challenge to find your way around these sometimes confined spaces with traditional diving equipment. But by improving your streamlining with a sidemount configuration, adventurous divers can gain more freedom and explore even tighter spaces than ever before. The Extended Range Sidemount course trains you in the proper sidemount setup and techniques required to efficiently and effectively use multiple stage cylinders for decompression diving in a sidemount configuration. After completing this course you will receive the SSI Extended Range Sidemount certification and can then use this configuration on all other XR courses.
