The SSI Navigation Specialty teaches you how to navigate using a compass and natural reference points so you can move confidently and efficiently underwater. An indispensable skill for any diver who wants to plan and execute independently. After obtaining this certification you will increase your confidence underwater and you can expand and refine your navigation skills. You will learn to search, follow patterns and return safely to the take-off site. The course includes one 4-hour theory session and an additional workshop on land or at the dive site, followed by two open water dives in which you will put everything into practice.
