Open Water Diver

The SSI Try Scuba program is the best way to dive for the first time. You will be in sheltered water and well cared for by your instructor so you can enjoy those first unforgettable breaths underwater and experience the magic of diving. By the end of this short course, you will have earned your SSI Try Scuba certification and will undoubtedly want to go diving more. Endless diving adventures await you and this course is where it all begins. Let's get started today.

An Open Water course consists of the following 4 pool sessions on Friday evening from 2030 to 2245 hours in pool "de Warande" in Oosterhout 1 theory session on Wednesday or Tuesday evening from 1900 to 2200 hours in our Diving Center at de veldsteen 14 in Breda Breda 2x2 outdoor dives which we usually do at the "nion" lake at Raamsdonksveer* *As an option you can also choose to dive 1 day at TODI or Dive4Life in consultation with the instructor(s) and can only take place if the whole group chooses this option. The entrance fee of you and your instructor (s) will be charged to you. also a surcharge of 25 euros for fuel of the instructor (s) in December, January and February there is always the last dive day at TODI these will be charged separately to you. this is due to the temperature of the water outside We assume that you have your own mask, snorkel and outer fins with boots. if you do not have these, you can purchase them directly from our Dive Center when you register. also take a look at www.kymo.net/webshop. all the other material is included. when you register you will get access to our SSI app where your course book is.

The SSI Deep Diving Specialty teaches you everything you need to dive to depths between 18 and 40 meters through a mix of theory and open water diving. You'll learn how to plan and make your deep diving adventures safe and use computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most out of your deep dives. Upon completion, you will earn your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites wherever you want. This SSI specialty is also a requirement for other advanced courses making it the next logical step to get your Deep Diver certification.
