Open Water Instructor (Instructor Training Course ITC)

Get started now. To participate in SSI's three-tiered approach to instructor training, you must be a Divemaster or equivalent. The training process begins by participating in a combination Assistant Instructor/Instructor Training Course with digital learning. After successfully completing the Instructor Training Course (ITC), you'll enroll in the Instructor Evaluation (IE) to qualify as an SSI Open Water Instructor. This 10-day training program enables you to independently teach a variety of key SSI programs such as Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide. For those who want to spend more time learning and gain valuable teaching experience between training programs, you can also take all three parts - Assistant Instructor, Instructor Training Course (ITC) and Instructor Evaluation (IE) - one after the other in a single step.
