Open Water Instructor (Instructor Training Course ITC)

Get started now. To participate in SSI's three-tiered instructor training approach, you must be a Divemaster or equivalent. The training process begins by participating in a combination of assistant instructor/instructor training courses with digital learning. After successfully completing the Instructor Training Course (ITC), you'll enroll in the Instructor Evaluation (IE) to earn your SSI Open Water Instructor rating. This 10-day training program enables you to independently teach a variety of key SSI programs such as Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Nitrox, Stress Rescue and Dive Guide. For those who want to spend more time learning and gain valuable teaching experience between training programs, you can also take all three parts in a single step, one after the other: Assistant Instructor, Instructor Training Course (ITC) and Instructor Evaluation (IE).
