Open Water Instructor (Instructor Training Course ITC)

Are you a Dive Master and ready to take the next big step in your career? The SSI ITC course is what you're looking for! A 10 days intensive training where we prepare you for the instructor exam. In our dive center Punta Amanay we have been training divers for more than 20 years in the waters of Fuerteventura, and we are proud to be able to offer you this intensive and high level course so you will be well prepared for the instructor exam. Prerequisites: SSI Divemaster or equivalent, a minimum of 100 logged dives, full scuba equipment, computer or tablet and smartphone to be able to follow the classes and do the academic practices, medical certificate less than 1 year old, oxygen provider and first aid certification (React Right) less than 2 years old. We have the modern and functional facilities necessary to optimize your time to the maximum. Our own indoor pool, designed and dedicated exclusively to diving activities, our boats - 2 RIBs located in the harbor just 3 minutes walk from the dive center, and theory classrooms equipped for professional training. The perfect conditions and environment to make your experience the best possible. The course is scheduled for 9 days (plus 2 exam days), from 9am to 7pm, with a lunch break and several short breaks throughout the day. The price is 2.600€ and includes:- fees and SSI materials, digital and physical (410€)- exam fee (550€)- use of the facilities, swimming pool, boat etc.- tanks and weights for all course outings. Not included:- dive equipment rental- food and accommodation (we can help you to find it). We recommend candidates to come 2 or 3 days before the course to get to know us and to evaluate skills and knowledge during a couple of dives and talks. Dives in the days prior to the course will be free of charge. For those who wish to take more time to learn and gain teaching experience between courses, the 3 parts - Assistant Instructor, Instructor Training Course (ITC) and Instructor Evaluation (IE) - can also be done separately, at your own pace and with flexible scheduling and organization.
