Scooter/DPV Explorer

If you want to make the most of your bottom time and have more fun on your dives, try scooter or diver propulsion vehicle (DPV) diving. In this underwater scooter and DPV course, you'll learn the skills and concepts you need to plan and execute safe scooter and DPV dives. You'll learn about the special precautions required when using DPVs, how to maintain contact with your buddy and how to control your equipment, so that you can safely enjoy the new diving experiences offered by DPVs. On completion of this program, you'll be awarded the Scooter/DPV Diving SSI specialty certification, and will be able to dive to depths of up to 30 meters with a scooter or DPV.
