It is easy for dive skills to get rusty and to lose confidence when you have not dived for a while. With the SSI Scuba Skills Update, we will get you back in the water and diving with ease in no time. This scuba refresher course allows you to review and practice scuba skills you learned in your Open Water Diver program, under the guidance of an SSI Professional. This is a great course to take just before a dive holiday, so you spend less time worrying about your skills and more time admiring the marine life. If you are a non-certified Open Water Diver student, a Scuba Skills Update is ideal for practicing your dive skills before your open water training dives. With no fixed course duration, you can take your time and focus on the skills you need help with.

$135 Be better prepared to assist in an emergency. First aid techniques are constantly being improved, making this course valuable to both new and experienced SSI React Right divers. This course has two parts. In part one, you will independently study the course materials and complete the knowledge review questions at your own pace, in whatever learning environment works best for you.Part two is a skill development session with an SSI React Right Instructor where you will refine and demonstrate your new first aid skills in realistic, scenario-based settings. During this session you will have the opportunity to ask any unanswered questions and will complete a written exam. After completing all course requirements, you will be certified as an SSI React Right Provider - a certification that will be valid for two years. This course is not intended to replace a full-length Emergency Medical Instruction course (for EMT or higher qualifications). Upon completion of this course, students will earn the SSI React Right Provider Specialty certification. This certification is valid for two years from date of issue. SSI Specialty Course: Diver Stress & Rescue "Be prepared for those unexpected emergencies." Join us for a Stress and Rescue course! Friday Night Academics 6pm-9pm Saturday Morning Pool Session 9am-2pm Pool Saturday Afternoon Reach Right 3pm-6pm Sunday Dives at Lake Denton 7:30am-5pm Must have 1st Aid, CPR, AED, and O2 certifications for completion. Stress is a major contributor to rescue situations and diving accidents. Through this course you will learn accident prevention, as well as how to handle problem situations if they occur. The program is about avoiding, recognizing and solving problems on the surface and underwater. You will participate in academic and in-water sessions in the pool and in the open water. As a prerequisite for certification you need to have a valid CPR & First Aid, AED, and Oxygen Administration Certifications. Ask about our Rescue Diver Bundle Package!
