The Compressor Techniques Specialty Instructor Program qualifies you to teach content related to the safe operation, monitoring and responsible use of breathing air compressors. The focus is on the structured training of personnel in the dive center environment, which requires practical experience in handling compressors and ideally appropriate training or demonstrable instruction in compressor handling. This specialty is specifically aimed at instructor candidates who are able to represent the topic in a technically sound manner. The program is particularly suitable for equipping employees in dive centres with a comprehensible and documentable qualification. This creates a clear training standard that goes beyond informal briefings. The Specialty Instructor Seminar takes place online. Candidates receive preparatory material in advance that covers both the technical basics and didactic aspects of the training. On this basis, you will develop your own course plan and prepare a microteaching on the topic of compressor techniques. The actual seminar will be held as a live webinar. The microteachings are presented, discussed and reflected on both technically and didactically. SSI does not provide its own official teaching material for Compressor Techniques.
