This year, courses will be held in Carouge and Genève Plage, and men are invited to take part too, but putting on a glittery tail and flaunting pretty hair isn't enough. Above all, it's about knowing how to swim like a mermaid, mastering the elegant undulations of apnea. Practised in pools or confined spaces, this sporting activity works the arms and legs while shaping the silhouette. The fun aspect of the activity tones the body while relaxing in the water. At Mora Mora, students - newts and mermaids, children and adults - work on various aspects and skills of mermaiding: breathing, stretching, figures, figure sequences, poses, swimming techniques, safety, rescue and, most essential of all, apnea. During the first course, for ages 8 and up, an introduction to freediving will be taught by our SSI Freediving instructors. Each course is limited to a total of 6 people, to ensure quality rather than quantity. During the course, the skills, knowledge and progress of the individual will be taken into account, so that we can work on what is missing to reach the desired level.
