Many divers still have slight problems with weightless gliding after basic training. During this course you will perfect the most important diving skill: correct buoyancy control. This will allow you to move effectively, safely and without fatigue in the water. The elective dive "SSI Buoyancy Control in Perfection", which can be done during the "SSI Advanced Advanturer" program, can be credited towards this specailty after consultation with the instructor. Incidentally, correct buoyancy control is just as important for underwater photography (SSI Photo & Video Specialty) as it is for protecting corals and preventing sediment from being stirred up.
