Naufrágio (Corceira) Corveta Afonso Cerqueira (★4.6)

The corvette „Afonso Cerqueira“ was sunk on 04.09.2018 in front of the island Madeira. It is now a big attraction as artificial reef for divers and freedivers. All decks and rooms are accessible. The Wreck is 85 Meter long and rest in a depth of 12 - 33 Meters.

One of the most popular dive sites in Madeira! The entry point is directly at the promenade Reis Magos, in Canico de Baixo. The site can be dived from land as well as by boat.

Perfect dive site for beginners, diving and snorkeling. The dive site in front of the center has an easy entrance accessible to all starting from 2m to 12-14m with a small wreck on the right side of the tip.

Pedra do Ginja (★4.4)

The dive site, formerly named “Pedra do J“, has been renamed to “GINJA“ after a resident dusky grouper. The fish is very friendly and nosy and usually comes to meet the divers. He likes to swim among them and will often follow for the whole dive.

Easy diving between 24 and 26 meters but with difficult orientation, sheltered place and without current close to the port entrance. Visibility between 20 and 30 meters.
