Parete delle Gorgonie (★4.5)

The Gorgonian Wall is located on the north side of Isola delle Femmine, right on the border of Zone A, the Capo Gallo Marine Protected Area, and Isola delle Femmine. A descent into the blue water takes us to a plateau at a depth of about 22 meters. From here, a wall rich in red gorgonians and sponges begins.

Franata di Ponente (★4.7)

West of the Isolotto di Isola delle Femmine, a 10-minute boat ride from the diving site we can find Franata di Ponente, a dive suitable for everyone from beginners to experts; its depth varies from 5 to 50 meters.

Scalo Madonna (★4.8)

Opposite the Diving Center we can find Scalo della Madonna with entrance from the beach suitable for all training dives in confined waters and night dives.

Secca di Ponente (★4.6)

The top of the shoal is between 8 m and 15 m deep, for about 300 metres in length, with its flattened ovoid shape, more or less parallel to the coast and about 300 metres away from it. It offers a conformation rich in ravines, small and large hollow caves, imposing rocks and walls.

Parete del Corallo (★4.5)

Just a few minutes’ boat ride from the port of Isola delle Femmine to the west of Isolotto we can find wall of Ponente, with vertical walls from 25 to 50 meters, a true paradise of biodiversity.

Boa dei Faraglioni (★4.8)

The Cyclops Islands are located in a Marine Protected Area only 150 meters from shore off of the seaside village of Aci Trezza near Catania, Sicily, Italy. Ranging from 2-25 meters deep, it is a diver’s and snorkeler’s paradise with volcanic seabeds teeming with an abundance of marine life.

Punta Falconiera (★4.3)

Located very close to the port, it has two different itineraries: an archaeological site and a wall. Both routes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced divers. In the first we can see stocks of Roman and Punic anchors already at 18m. The wall is full of ravines and also has a very large cave.

Secca della Colombara (★4.7)

Fifteen minutes by boat from the port of Ustica is this incredible shoal which, from a depth of 50m, goes up to a depth of 3 meters at the top. The formation makes it accessible to both beginners and experienced divers.

Secchitello (★4.8)

Two miles South West Of the Ustica’s harbour, there is this dive site that raises from a sandy bottom at 50m/150 ft goes up to his top at 26m/78 ft. It’s surely one of the top dive spots of the island with lots of corals and fishes.

Cala Galera (★4.2)

One mile southwest of Ustica harbor is Punta Galera: a lava flow bisects a bay. Here you can follow several dive routes that allow you to follow profiles suitable for divers of any experience. It is also one of the sites where courses are held.

Punta San Paolo (★4.0)

A few minutes from the port, in a south-south-west direction, there is a lava wall that reaches a depth of 40 meters from the surface. Characterized by the presence of a canyon: the famous “Spaccazza di San Paolo“ which creeps into the mountain for several metres.

One mile in a southwesterly direction from the port of Ustica, near Punta Galera, we find the Grotta dei Gamberi, one of the most famous and beautiful dives in Ustica. An experience not to be missed for lovers, and in possession of the appropriate patent, of caves.

Secca d’Africa (★4.6)

About six miles in a westerly direction from the port of Ustica, about 350 meters from the lighthouse of Punta Spalmatore, between 9 and 12 meters deep are the three pinnacles of what is commonly called the “shoal of Africa “

Punta dell’Arpa (★4.3)

About a mile and a half in a westerly direction from the port of Ustica, is Punta dell’Arpa, characterized on the surface by the presence of its famous “scoglio del cornutone“. Underwater, two large rocks rise from a sandy bottom of 40 m, whose walls are colonized by large branches of red gorgonians.

Grotta del tuono (★4.0)

10 minutes by boat from the port, on the southern side of the island, sheltered in a cove, we find the thunder cave. Site suitable for both beginners and experienced divers. The profile of the dive follows the coast: a landslide of boulders and posidonia meadows offer shelter to many species.
