Extended Range Nitrox Diving

The SSI Extended Range Nitrox course provides you with a thorough introduction to the concepts, techniques and procedures required when planning decompression dives with Nitrox. Designed as a stand-alone program or as a stepping stone to becoming an SSI Extended Range Diver, this enriched air diving course teaches the fundamental skills for all future technical courses. It prepares the diver to plan and execute dives with decompression limits to a maximum depth of 40 meters using an XR sidemount or a dual unit. In addition, this advanced Nitrox course teaches you the techniques and procedures for using breathing gases up to 50% oxygen for decompression.
