Take the next step in your diving career with the SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC) and become a professional dive educator. This comprehensive program will equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to inspire new divers and share your passion for the underwater world.
Through a mix of academic sessions, pool training, and open water practice, you’ll learn how to teach SSI’s system, refine your demonstration skills, and prepare for the Instructor Evaluation (IE).
The ITC provides hands-on training across three key areas:
Academics: Master SSI teaching techniques and standards.
Pool Training: Practice skill demonstrations and student management.
Open Water Training: Refine your instructional skills in real-world scenarios.
Prerequisites:
Certification: SSI Divemaster (or equivalent) and Nitrox certification.
Experience: Minimum of 100 logged dives and at least six months as a certified diver.
