Night Diving & Limited Visibility

Night diving requires different skills from diving during the day. The SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility specialty is the best way to learn about night diving and practice the techniques you will need to become a safe and confident night diver. In this program, you will be provided with all the knowledge and skills you need to safely and comfortably dive at night or in limited visibility conditions. With a combination of online learning and open water training dives, you will learn how to enter and exit the water, use specialized equipment, and how to communicate with your buddy easily at night or in limited visibility. This class consists of a 2-hour practical on-land workshop. Two specialty dives are required for certification. Trip fees apply. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility specialty certification and be ready to go night diving with confidence.

Open Water Class

72% of our planet is covered in water and the best way to explore the oceans with through scuba diving. Scuba diving can be a safe, fun and exciting pastime. We at 72 Aquatics pride ourselves in maintaining the highest level of safety and professionalism throughout your scuba diving certification. Included is: Pool & Classroom Training Digital SSI Materials for Open Water and Perfect Buoyancy. Use of scuba training equipment for pool. To get fully certified you would then join to the Open Water to San Carlos, Mexico or Lake Pleasant. The certification process is fun and easy and it all begins with us during your classroom and pool sessions. In the classroom we will learn about the underwater world and what it takes to be a safe diver. Then in the pool, we practice skills to maintain perfect buoyancy and safe diving practices. Once you complete your classroom and pool work, your adventure isn’t over yet. The final step is to complete your certification dives. We have plenty of opportunities for you to complete your certification. Just ask one of our friendly staff members and we will be happy to assist. Our certification class are starting every other week throughout the year and you can get started by scheduling your personal class orientation today. Open Water Instructor (Instructor Training Course ITC)

Take the next step in your diving career with the SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC) and become a professional dive educator. This comprehensive program will equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to inspire new divers and share your passion for the underwater world. Through a mix of academic sessions, pool training, and open water practice, you’ll learn how to teach SSI’s system, refine your demonstration skills, and prepare for the Instructor Evaluation (IE). The ITC provides hands-on training across three key areas: Academics: Master SSI teaching techniques and standards. Pool Training: Practice skill demonstrations and student management. Open Water Training: Refine your instructional skills in real-world scenarios. Prerequisites: Certification: SSI Divemaster (or equivalent) and Nitrox certification. Experience: Minimum of 100 logged dives and at least six months as a certified diver. What’s Included: Tuition for all academic, pool, and open water training sessions.
