Basic Diver

If you want to experience diving in confined and open water without committing to a longer program, the SSI Basic Diver program is for you. You'll learn the skills and knowledge needed to experience diving with an SSI Professional to depths of up to 12 meters. It's a great way to try diving and explore the underwater world around you more fully. If you go through the full Basic Diver program, you can earn towards part of the Scuba Diver or Open Water Dive programs within six months. You can take the next step in your diving adventure.
