Scooter/DPV Diving

If you want to maximize your time underwater and have more fun while diving, consider diving with an underwater scooter or diver propelled vehicle (DPV). In this underwater scooter and DPV course, you'll learn the skills and concepts needed to plan and conduct a safe dive using a scooter or DPV. You'll learn the special precautions needed when using a DPV, how to maintain contact with your buddy, and how to control your equipment so you can safely enjoy the new diving experiences DPVs offer. After completing this program, you'll earn the SSI Scooter/DPV Diving Specialty rating and be able to dive with a scooter or DPV to depths of up to 30 meters.
